As a pediatrician, I have a great respect and love for children, and thus am grateful and excited to join the Healthy Beginnings team.
I went to medical school at the University of Washington, followed by pediatric residency training and a chief resident year at the Oregon Health and Sciences University. After training I focused some time on caring for children with developmental disabilities, and investigating how best the primary care medical home can serve families with children with special health care needs. I particularly enjoy working with medically complex children, and thus appreciate Healthy Beginnings mission to help ensure every child, no matter their underlying needs or conditions, is well supported and prepared for their education.
In my free time, I enjoy taking in the beauty of Central Oregon while skiing, trail running, and climbing.
