Family Support Coordinator
I came to Healthy Beginnings in 2014, drawn to the unique and exciting way HB was making a difference in the lives of children in Central Oregon. With a bachelors degree in Psychology from OSU Cascades, I understand the deep importance of mental health and strong family support in building a healthy and thriving family unit and community. I began working with Healthy Beginnings as an intern, and after experiencing my first screening and the impact it had on the families served, I was all in. I was hired on as an outreach assistant 4 months later. and have used my years in the program to turn my passion for serving others into a daily mission; to support families and make a difference in the community, one child at a time.
As the Family Support Coordinator, I get to work closely with families by coordinating screenings, overseeing the screening process, connecting families with services and engaging with families through the follow up process. In addition, I am the on-site tech support, helping design and implement the technology used to support volunteers and families online.
Outside of work, I like to spend my time enjoying beautiful Central Oregon, crafting, painting and working in the shop with leather and metal.
